The Pokemon Company and DeNA Have Teamed Up for a New Mobile ‘Pokemon’ Title due by March 2020

DeNA had its investor briefing and we now know (thanks to Takashi Mochizuki) that they are working on a mobile game with The Pokemon Company. If you’re unaware of DeNA, they are huge in the mobile space and have worked with Nintendo on multiple occasions on games like Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp (Free) and even Super Mario Run and the upcoming Mario Kart Tour. This new Pokemon game was just announced as a project with no details right now other than this financial year.

This year, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are releasing Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield for the Nintendo Switch and it is likely they might try and have some sort of tie in with this upcoming mobile title. There will definitely be some cross promotion with Pokemon GO. You can get exclusive Pokemon in the console titles from last year by playing Pokemon GO now. There are loads of Pokemon apps and games on iOS and Android. It remains to be seen how this one turns out.

More information about this upcoming mobile project between DeNA and The Pokemon Company will be revealed later. It will release by March 2020. What would you like to see from a new Pokemon game on mobile?
